Full-Time Nursery

We offer the government-funded 30-hour childcare for eligible families subject to availability.

HIGH-QUALITY EARLY YEARS EDUCATION FOLLOWING THE EYFS CURRICULUM

  • Access to outdoor play and enrichment activities
  • Qualified, caring staff supporting your child’s development

THE NURSERY DAY

  • 8.30-11.30: Carpet session and continuous provision indoors and outdoors.
  • 11.30-12.30: Lunch in the hall and playtime.
  • 12.30-3.30: Carpet session and continuous provision indoors and outdoors.

LUNCH

Children will need to bring in a packed lunch each day. They will have their lunch in the hall with our Reception children.

During lunchtime outdoor play, the children will join the Reception children in the playground. They will be fully supported by our experienced staff throughout the lunch period.

Please note that we are a nut-free school, and all packed lunches should be healthy and well-balanced.

COST

The total number of hours per week is 35.

Of the total hours, 30 are funded by the government. The remaining 5 hours will need to be covered by you, and therefore a fee of £7 per day will apply for the additional hours.

Please note that payments must be made monthly in advance via ParentPay.

The 30 hours funding is subject to eligibility criteria which are determined by the government.  If you are offered a full day and accept this but subsequently do not receive the government funding (or if you cease to be eligible during the year) you will be required to pay the school for all sessions not funded by the government.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You may be eligible if:

  • Your child is 3 or 4 years old
  • Both parents (or the sole parent in a single-parent family) are working
  • Each parent earns at least the equivalent of 16 hours at National Minimum Wage, but less than £100,000 per year
  • You have a valid 30-hour eligibility code

It’s important to reconfirm your code every three months to keep your funding

You’ll get a reminder email or text from HMRC

If you don’t reconfirm in time, your funding could stop.
